“Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu returned today from his US trip and swiftly headed for a security cabinet meeting after deadly rocket fire killed 12 youths in the Golan Heights.

"The prime minister's plane has landed in Israel. He is now making his way to the defense ministry,” Netanyahu's office said in a statement – per Agence France-Presse (AFP).

Earlier today, The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi said that they are raising “Israel’s” readiness for the next phase of fighting in North to the “next level” – adding that they have identified the rocket they claimed to be fired by Hezbollah at Madjal Shams.

The rocket, which Hezbollah denies to have fired, killed 12 children and wounded many more after it struck a soccer field in the Druze village of Majdal Shams.

"We know exactly where the rocket was launched from today," Halevi said in a visit to the site of the attack on Saturday.

"We examined the remains of the rocket on the soccer field wall, and we can say that it is a Falaq rocket with a warhead of 53 kilograms."

"We are significantly raising our readiness for the next phase of fighting in the North while simultaneously fighting in Gaza. We know how to strike very far from the State of Israel. When required, we will act strongly," he added.

“Israel's” foreign ministry said that Hezbollah "crossed all red lines" with a rocket strike blamed on the Lebanese group.

"Saturday's massacre constitutes the crossing of all red lines by Hezbollah. This is not an army fighting another army, rather it is a terrorist organization deliberately shooting at civilians," the ministry said.

"The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon firmly denies the accusations from some enemy media and various platforms regarding the targeting of Majdal Shams. The Islamic Resistance has no involvement in the incident and strongly denies all false claims about it,” Hezbollah said in a statement.
